Do you ever find that you can have total clarity about some things in your life, like which restaurant to go to, what movie to watch, or even where you would like to live... and yet other things aren't so easy to have clarity on? I don't know about you, but in the past I've been known to spend days, weeks and even months thinking things over, running them through my head in an attempt to gain clarity on a situation. I've looked at things from every possible angle, and even not yet existing angles in case those angles showed up for me to deal with. And to be entirely honest, not only was it exhausting and eventually boring, but it never actually worked to give me clarity. Not once. Why? Because that process of running everything through my head was about my conclusions, thoughts, and decisions about how, who, where, and what things could, should or might be like.
